I was having a beer or six with a painter and a builder (it's not the start of a joke) and they started talking about that "bloody intraweb". I asked if they had websites and they said they don't even know how to use a computer and hate the bloody things.
Now I'm on the wrong side of 50. My first job was in a bank and I have always driven a desk and used a computer so I couldn't understand why they had a problem with them and technology. Now I can hammer in a nail but I wouldn't want to go near a skill saw so I was able to put things into perspective.
As the beer and conversation kept flowing they openly admitted that they are scared to death of computers and although they had looked at the odd thing on the internet (you know what I mean) they did accept the fact that it is now the way business is and that maybe they should get websites for their business but didn't know how to go about it.
I told them to Google it and they told me it was my round.
Anyway, that's how this all started. I personally love technology but also understand that some people fear it.
Because of my age I can explain things in real laymans terms (not like these younger people that grew up with Facebook and Smartphones) so if you want to know how a website works and benefit your business give me a call on 027-445-4073.
